From that moment, I planted a seed of dreams in my heart, aspiring to step into that glamorous world.

This desire led me into the advertising industry, where I became a freelancer, immersing myself fully in commercial advertisements, fashion, and film production. I worked on high-profile projects, living a fast-paced life full of accomplishments. However, over time, I realized that this lifestyle did not bring the inner fulfillment I had hoped for.

Amidst this busy life, I began to feel the pressure of career burnout. My passion for creation was consumed by endless work and the pursuit of fame and success. I had once been proud of every project, but I found myself disconnected from my inner self. I longed for a more authentic, purer way of living—one no longer dependent on external validation. These thoughts led me to make a bold decision: to leave it all behind and embrace a more authentic life with courage.

So, I made the decision to leave the city and move to the UK to start a new chapter. At the time, my English was basic, and I was filled with uncertainty and fear. However, it was these challenges that became the driving force within me. On this unfamiliar land, I found more opportunities to listen to my inner voice and space to redefine myself.
I will always remember the moment I first arrived in the UK, packing my luggage on the last day, filled with unease. It was one of the most significant decisions of my life, and I had no confidence in this new environment. Fear and uncertainty crept into my heart, but I knew there was no turning back. The only option was to move forward with courage.
A miracle happened. Upon arriving at the UK airport, I met a kind gentleman at the train station who offered to help me with my two large suitcases. This small act of kindness eased my fears. The next day, on the train to my language school, I met another student heading to the same school who also lived on the same street—an incredible stroke of luck. These new friendships and adventures, from exploring the UK together to working in Scotland and Windermere, enriched my life and showed me the kindness of strangers.
A year later, through a chance encounter, I met my husband. Our meeting felt like fate, and he became my most important supporter and companion. With his presence, I gradually rediscovered my passion for life and creative energy. This relationship gave me endless strength and courage, allowing me to remain true to myself and embrace life in this unfamiliar land.
The Tranquility of Nature and Creative Awakening
Leaving the city was difficult, but it was necessary. Living in the UK countryside has given me peace and space to truly reconnect with myself, my family, and nature. It’s here, amidst rolling hills, lush gardens, and the tranquility of the countryside, that I found the inspiration to create Luz Qi Art.
As a mother, I began to see the world through my children’s eyes, appreciating the fleeting beauty of everyday moments—the laughter shared over a meal, the sparkle in their eyes, the playfulness of their small hands. This led me to create family-inspired stories and artwork that celebrate the joy, love, and wonder of parenthood. The Bittersweet Reunion In Heaven
Becoming a mother has taught me the depth of my parents’ love and the countless sacrifices they made for me. Their love was profound and selfless. A few years after moving to the UK, my father passed away due to illness. His loss was a deep wound in my heart. Just four years later, my mother followed him to heaven. Losing them both in such close succession felt like a chapter of my life had closed forever. Yet, I find solace in imagining them reunited in heaven, holding hands as they had always done in life.
Now, I live in the serene English countryside, surrounded by rolling meadows and tranquil fields. I often gaze at the sky, imagining their loving presence watching over me from above. My longing for them and my gratitude for their love have only grown stronger with time. As I wrote in my third book, Love Never Ends, love transcends life and death—it never stops. One day, I know we will meet again.
Until that day comes, I will honor their love by sharing their stories with my children, ensuring their legacy lives on. I will also treasure the present, living each day to the fullest, for I know that is what they would have wanted for me.
